- La construccion de 24 km de un viaducto ferroviario 100% elevado, 16 estaciones, 22 km de carril bici y 600.000 m2 de espacios publicos.
- El suministro e instalacion de los railes necesarios, almacenamiento de cantos, sistema de control de electrico, de telecomunicaciones y de billetes de viaje para la operacion del metro.
Qué se consiguió
- Revision de la evaluacion de impacto ambiental y social, el plan de manejo ambiental y social, y las politicas operativas (salvaguardas ambientales y sociales) del Banco Mundial (BM), la Corporacion Financiera Internacional (IFC), el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y la CAF, para el BMLP.
- Revision y evaluacion del borrador de EIAS y sus anexos en relacion con las politicas de salvaguardas ambientales y sociales del Banco Mundial (BM) incluyendo una revision y comparacion basada en el esquema recomendado de EIAS proporcionado por el Banco y la identificacion de problemas clave previamente identificados por el Banco.
- Revisión y evaluación de la documentacion proporcionada por el Banco relacionada con los impactos y los riesgos potenciales debidos a ruidos y vibraciones y particulas.
- Identificación de posibles brechas en el EIAS del proyecto relacionadas con las politicas del Banco y las buenas practicas internacionales con respecto a la EIAS para proyectos de metro.
- Propuesta de recomendaciones para abordar cualquier brecha identificada de de ciencias en el EIAS y sus anexos.

Technical Assistance for the Review of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of Line 1 of the Bogota Metro (BMLP). Description The BMLP consists of:
- The construction of 24 Km (including the rail yard connection line and end of line rail turnouts) of a 100 percent elevated rail viaduct starting from the metro railyard (in the southwest of the District, locality of Bosa) to Calle 78 with Avenida Caracas in the central business district
- The construction of 16 stations, 10 of which will be integrated with th Transmilenio system, and one rail yard;
- The construction of 22 Km of bicycle lanes, intervention of targeted sections and stations of TranMilenio along the Caracas Ave (until Calle 78) and adjacent roads along the alignment, and public space upgrading on 600.000 sq. Meters of public space; and
- The provision and installation of necessary rails, rolling stock, electrical, control, telecommunications and fare collection system for the operation of the metro.
Achievements These were the objectives that Inerco achieved:
- Review of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan and Operational
- Policies (Environmental and Social Safeguards) from the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), InterAmerican Development Bank (BID) and CAF.
- Review and assessment of the draft ESIA and its Annexes in relation to World Bank Environmental and Social
- Safeguard Policies; including a review and comparison based upon the key issues recommended ESIA outline provided by the Bank and the key issues identified by the Bank.
- Review and assessment of the documentation provided by the Bank related to potential impacts and risks due to noise, vibrations and particulate material (e.g., dust emissions) in terms of good international practice on assessment of impacts and risks, baseline definition and monitoring, mathematical modelling used, and proposed mitigation measures and monitoring programs.
- Identification of potential gaps in project ESIA and its Annexes related to Bank policies and good international practices for ESIA of metro project.
- Drawing recommendations for addressing the identified gaps and deficiencies in the ESIA and its Annexes.
